Manado is a hilly area and has a volcano that is still active and the stunning scenery plateau. It was estimated that Manado was settled in the 16th century and was called "Wenang" at the time. In the year 1623, the name of "Wenang" was changed into "Manado". Due to the influence of foreign culture, the Manado culture reflects many influences from outside countries. Urbanisation of the Sangihe Talaud, Bolaang Mongondow, Gorontalo and Minahasa has led to many changes within the Manado culture and that of its people.

As soon as we arrive at the airport, our tour guide will assist you and prepare for the Manado City tour. First, we will visit the Ban Hin Kiong temple, the oldest temple in town which has been here since the 19th century. This temple is also used by Buddhist people to pray to their Gods.
After that, we continue to pass the China village and then go Sentrum Church where you can see the World War II monument, which was build to commemorate the victims of the war. After that we will pass the Jl. 17 Augustus to see the government offices and finally we go via Jl. Boulevard which is a popular place to see in Manado to drop you at the hotel.
If you are coming with the early morning flight, we will take you to taste the traditional food of Manado that is "Tinutuan" or Manado porridge and the traditional market.
